We perform routine surgeries such as spays and neuters or minor soft tissue surgeries, such as mass/tumor removals, “cherry eye” repair, eyelid tumor removals, and other specialized surgeries including but not limited to c-sections, splenectomy, gastropexy and foreign body removal.

Emergency Services

After Hours Care

Emergencies are inevitable and unpredictable. Purrfect Pets offers a limited service for emergency care in that we are unable to perform xrays.  We will however accomodate your emergencies as best as we can, otherwise we can refer you to the nearest and best option for your needs. Please don't hesitate to call 242.809.8782for your emergeny needs. An afterhours charge of $200 is applicable to all service calls payable at the time of service, after which additional charges for services rendered will be applied, and must be paid in full after services are rendered. We accept cash and credit card payments only for emergency services.

Preventative Care
Vaccinations and screenings
We are proud to offer vaccinations from the safest manufacturers for your pets. We utilize the most up-to-date methods of administration to minimize the risk of vaccine reactions. We also offer preventative screenings for heartworms, fecal parasites and common old-age illnesses for pets over 7 years old.

Purrfect Pets is a  full-service small animal veterinary hospital catering to the needs of your dog. The facility includes a fully-stocked pharmacy, surgery suite, a closely monitored hospitalization area,  with an outdoor yard for walking hospitalized dogs. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories.

Dental

Teeth Cleaning and Oral Surgery

Pets get plaque, tartar, and periodontal disease, too. 85% of pets over the age of 3 years have some form of dental disease that requires treatment. We highly recommend that you “Flip the Lip” daily to check your pet’s teeth and brush his/her teeth.

Grooming 

Includes nail trim, and ear cleaning.

We offer the services of medicated baths and nail trims from Monday to Wednesday and Friday! All pets must be pre-existing patients that are up to date with vaccinations before these services can be rendered. 

Gone are the days of having to wait hours to get your pets blood work results from an outside lab.  Purrfect Pets now has the capabilities to perform diagnostic Complete Blood Counts as well as Comprehensive Chemistry Panels to assess your animals' overall well being.  Blood work has now become an essential part of determining an animals health.  It eliminates the guess work and allows for proper treatment and management of diseases.  It is recommended to have your animals blood work performed once a year after they have reached 7 years old.  Changes in the blood work can be monitored closely and early intervention can be instituted even in the event your pet may not be exhibiting clinical signs.  Blood work is also used to determine what is happening to an animal that has fallen ill.  It helps the veterinarian to determine the most appropriate course of action to take for the well being of your pet.
